We picked up this job in Golders Green after the client had been living with tired, dull parquet for several years. Once we stripped back the old finish and got through the top layer, the wood underneath was in much better condition than it looked. The difference by the end of the day was significant.

About our Hampstead work

Most of the properties we work in across Hampstead are inter-war semis, Edwardian detached houses, and 1930s purpose-built blocks. These buildings tend to have original parquet that have survived decades of wear, often under carpets that were fitted in the 1970s and 80s. When we lift those carpets, we frequently find floors that just need a good sand and a fresh finish.
